A boil water advisory is in effect until further notice following an overnight water main break on Hillview Drive.
Cadiz Public Works Director Craig Oakley says the water main break is being repaired, with service expected to be restored later this morning. Oakley says Cadiz Water customers on Hillview Drive, Lakeview Drive, Powerline Drive, Third Street, and West End Avenue are included in the advisory. Others impacted include Cadiz Water customers on Lincoln Avenue, Short Street, Hilltop Street, Sherry Street, Linda Lane, Fourth Street, Maple Drive, Orten Road and Orten Road Extension, Noel Drive, Glendale Drive, and Sunset Circle.
Customers in the area affected are reminded to use bottled water or bring drinking water to a boil and allow to cool before consuming.
