Four COVID-Related Deaths Reported In Christian County

The Christian County Health Department has announced four new COVID-related deaths in the county.

Spokeswoman Cloie Rager with the health department said on Thursday all the deaths were unvaccinated. Three of the deaths were Caucasian males with underlying health conditions aged, 67, 54, and 63. The fourth death involved a 62-year old African American man with unknown underlying health conditions.

Since October 28, the health department reports an increase of 74 coronavirus cases in Christian County with 13 of those, or 18 percent, breakthrough cases.

As of Thursday, there are 124 active COVID-19 cases which include 65 cases between the ages of 22 to 59 and 33 cases 21-years old and under.

To date, 10,691 COVID cases have been confirmed in Christian County, 10,432 have recovered and 135 deaths have been connected to the virus.
