PDHD Reports One COVID-19 Death In Trigg County

The Pennyrile District Health Department has reported four new deaths in the area attributable to COVID-19, which involves a 69-year-old man from Trigg County, an 81-year-old man from Livingston County, a 58-year-old woman from Caldwell County, and a 77-year-old woman from Caldwell County.

The Trigg County death occurred October 17.

For the 22 new cases reported in Trigg County, the average age of the patient is 28.9 — and all cases are reportedly being treated at home.

From October 29 through November 1, PDHD is also reporting 43 new cases in the region — including 22 in Trigg County, 11 in Caldwell County, six in Crittenden County, three in Lyon County and one in Livingston County.

Incidence rates continue to drop across the Commonwealth, with positivity down to 5.03% as of Monday, but both Trigg and Caldwell counties remain in the red, while Crittenden, Hopkins, Christian and Lyon are holding in the orange. Livingston County has fallen into the yellow.
