Cadiz Man Charged With Burglary And Voyeurism

A Cadiz man was charged Thursday night with possession of drugs and voyeurism after an investigation into stolen items in Trigg County.

Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say on October 22nd they were called by a woman on Rocky Ridge Road after 27-year-old Christopher Hightower was seen looking in her window.

The next day the woman reportedly found a chainsaw on her property that did not belong to her and found that her vehicle had been gone through and she was missing $1,000.

During the investigation, Hightower was allegedly found to have several stolen tools along with two guns in his possession. As he was talking with law enforcement he reportedly gave his mother meth in an attempt to avoid deputies finding it.

Hightower reportedly told deputies he was pleasuring himself at the window when the woman noticed him.

Police say Hightower helped return items that were stolen to their owners even after being told he did not have to.

He is charged with second-degree indecent exposure, voyeurism, third-degree burglary, possession of meth, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and three counts of theft by unlawful taking.
