An Oak Grove woman was charged Wednesday with manslaughter in connection to the death of her daughter on June 26, 2020.
Oak Grove Police say for several years 49-year-old Patricia Conyers neglected to give her 16-year-old daughter medication as directed and canceled or did not attend scheduled doctor’s appointments.
Police say if her daughter’s fatal acute illness had been treated timely and appropriately it would not have led to her death.
She is charged with second-degree manslaughter.
