A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent two people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was turning onto East 9th Street from College Street and struck a car driven by 34-year-old Tiffany McKnight of Hopkinsville that was eastbound on East 9th Street.
Two passengers in McKnight’s car 14-year-old Ezeryan Thomas and 9-year-old Ayden McKight both of Hopkinsville were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for possible injuries.
The driver of the car on College Street reportedly fled the area before police arrived.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m.
