A two-vehicle wreck on Rockcastle Road, near Rabbit Ridge Road, in Trigg County sent a man and woman to the hospital Wednesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say around 7:00 Wednesday night Beth Mann was westbound when the driver of an oncoming car she was meeting failed to properly navigate a curve at a high rate of speed and crossed into her lane. Mann drove her SUV off the roadway trying to avoid the crash, but the driver of the car also ran off the roadway and struck her vehicle.
Deputies say the driver of the car fled on foot after the crash but was located at his home on Little River Boulevard a short time later.
Mann was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for what authorities say are minor injuries. The male driver of the car was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for head injuries.
