A wreck on Greenville Road in Christian County Monday morning sent two people to the hospital.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 24-year-old Mia Mundy of Owensboro was turning onto Greenville Road from Kentucky 1682 around noon. Mundy pulled into the path of a southbound SUV driven by 33-year-old Johnathon Tatum of Christian County.
The crash sent Tatum’s vehicle off the road and into a creek.
Deputies say all six people in the two vehicles were injured, but only two passengers in Jonathon Tatum’s vehicle were taken to the hospital. 28-year-old Ashley Tatum was reportedly taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of leg injuries, with 8-year-old Blake Tatum flown to a Nashville hospital for possible head and back injuries. The other four people were treated at the scene.
