A Hopkinsville man was charged after a burglary investigation on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 27-year-old Zachary Parker was found inside a building that is surrounded by a fence and at first, told police he was looking for his dog.
After law enforcement talked with Parker he reportedly admitted he was inside the building looking for chains.
Police say he was found to have a backpack with several tools commonly used in burglaries. Parker is charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools.
