A child was flown to a Nashville hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Ridgemont Drive at Springmont Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say the child was on a scooter and pulled out in front of van turning onto Ridgemont Drive. The child was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center then flown to a Nashville hospital. The full extent of the injuries was unknown.
The crash happened just before 7 pm.
