An Owensboro woman was injured when her car hit a guardrail on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 65-year-old Maryland Staples was southbound when she changed lanes for vehicles merging onto the parkway and her car hit a guardrail for the bridge at Exit 11.
She was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for what deputies say are non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 1 pm.
