Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Possession Of Cocaine

A Hopkinsville woman was reportedly found with drugs after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 37-year-old Andrea Pendleton was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt and found to not have proof of insurance.

During the stop, police say they could smell marijuana and when she was asked about the smell, she told them she had smoked two hours before the stop.

She reportedly performed poorly on a field sobriety test and cocaine along with drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle.

Pendleton was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, DUI, possession of marijuana, and failure to wear a seat belt.
