Man Charged After High-Speed Pursuit In Christian County 

Deputies have released the name of a Georgia man that led them on a high-speed pursuit on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Wednesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 23-year-old Alex Moore at the 16 mile marker for speeding and he fled at speeds of over 100 mph with two other people in his vehicle.

The pursuit ended at the 8 mile marker when he stopped just before spike strips that law enforcement had put out.

He is charged with DUI, first-degree fleeing or evading police, speeding, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
