A Hopkinsville man was charged after he reportedly failed to pay for a motel room Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old David Brown Sr. was told to check out of his motel room at the Travel Inn on East 9th Street Thursday and he failed to and never returned the key.
He reportedly left the room then returned later without paying for more nights at the motel.
Police say Brown told them he owned the motel when they arrived. He is charged with second-degree burglary.
