There will be many people from Paducah to Maysville burning up U.S. 68 this weekend as they try to find good deals and unique items during the 400 Mile Yard Sale.
Yard sales began popping up Thursday, and many will be set up through Sunday. The sales bring many visitors to the immediate region.
Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism Director Bill Stevens says the tourism impact always varies, but this year’s event will feature some nice weather.
Stevens adds they receive tons of positive feedback concerning the area yard sales each year.
Most visitors to the area like to stay along U.S. 68 to find sales, but Stevens says there is a lot to do if you happen to stray off the beaten path.
