Christian Co. Health Department To No Longer Offer Vaccines at Convention Center

The Christian County Health Department is shifting its focus on COVID-19 vaccine clinics and working on ways to make them more available to the public.

Spokesperson Amanda Sweeney-Brunt said Tuesday was the last day for the clinic at the James E. Bruce Convention Center, as they will now hand out vaccines every Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the health department.

Sweeney-Brunt added the Pfizer vaccine is being given at various places throughout the community.

If you have any questions about any of the vaccines, Sweeney-Brunt said they could answer them.

She added they are working to bring vaccines to employers or places with ten or more people interested; for more information, call the health department.
