Pennyrile Electric is planning a power outage for the Rockcastle area of Trigg County Sunday morning.
Spokesman Brent Gilkey says 1,690 members will be affected by the outage, which will occur at the Rockcastle Substation from 12:01 a.m. and last four hours.
Gilkey adds they regret the interruption of service but says it’s necessary to replace a power transformer in the substation. In case of inclement weather, the outage will be rescheduled.
