Leadership Class Unveils Hopkinsville-Christian County Library Patio Project

As the COVID-19 pandemic appears to have an end in sight, so has the work of the latest Hopkinsville-Christian County Leadership Class.

The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library unveiled the project’s culmination Friday, a renovation, and update of its outdoor patio.

The family-friendly area overlooks Bethel Street, West Ninth Street, and the Little River. Library Director DeeAnna Sova said the area was part of the original library design in 1975 but had not received an update in several years

Beth Peebles as well as Faye Hendricks and her daughter Lily painted a mural depicting downtown Hopkinsville on the library wall. Sova said the patio has already been a hit with people using the library.
