Officials with the City of Cadiz have announced the 2021 Trigg County Ham Festival will be held in October.
The 2020 festival, like many across the state, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the inability to meet state attendance guidelines.
A social media post by the Cadiz Main Street Program Wednesday said the 2021 Ham Festival will be held Friday, October 8, and Saturday, October 9. More details will be announced at a later time.

The first ham festival was held in 1977 and was the brainchild of the Trigg County Extension Office. Despite rain hampering past festivals, 2020 marked the first time the entire festival was canceled.
