Kentucky Adds 785 New COVID-19 Cases Wednesday

Kentucky added 785 new COVID-19 cases and 13 COVID-related deaths to its official numbers Wednesday.

Governor Andy Beshear’s office said of the new deaths; six were from the statewide death audit. One of the audit deaths included a 78-year-old female from Christian County who died December 21.

The statewide testing positivity rate was 3.39-percent Wednesday, while 417 people remained hospitalized with COVID-19. Also, 113 people remain in the ICU with COVID, and 52 are on a ventilator.
