The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is alerting motorists of an upcoming road closure in Christian County initiated by CSX Railroad next week.
District Two spokesperson Kiersten Jaggers said the closure of Kentucky 800 between U.S. 41 and the Pennyrile Parkway in Crofton is to initiate crossing adjustments. The section of the roadway will be closed from April 26-28, and CSX crews will address the majority of the work between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Jaggers added some minor paving work would be addressed during the day, but paving operations will be brief.
