The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning a three-day work zone lane restriction along a section of U.S. 68/Kentucky 80 in Trigg County starting Wednesday.
District One Spokesman Keith Todd said the westbound lane restriction near the 24-mile marker is to facilitate erosion control work. The work zone will be along U.S. 68/KY 80 just west of the Interstate 24 – Cadiz Exit 65 Interchange between Kentucky 3468 and Rocky Ridge Road.
Todd added the lane restriction is expected to be active between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Eastbound motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the work zone.
