Shannon Burcham announced earlier this week he was retiring as principal of Trigg County High School.
In a letter sent home to parents and students, Burcham said he has served in numerous capacities within the school over the last 30 years and added he was grateful for each connection made over the years.
In the letter, Burcham said Randy McCallon would serve as the interim principal through the end of the current school year.
