Five New COVID-19 Deaths Recorded In Christian County

The Christian County Health Department reported five new COVID-19 deaths in the county as of March 31.

According to the health department, the deaths include a 55-year-old Caucasian female, a 90year-old Caucasian male, a 68-year-old Caucasian female, a 78-year-old Caucasian female, and an 81-year-old Caucasian female. The health department said all the victims had underlying health conditions.

Christian County added 13 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday afternoon. The active case count dropped to 154 with 94 of the cases in the 22 to 59 age group, with 33 cases between the ages of birth and 21, 26 cases in the 60 to 84 age range, and one case in the 85 and older category.

Christian County has reported a total of 6,600 COVID-19 cases, with 6,356 recoveries, and 90 deaths.
