Woman Killed In Cerulean Fire (w/VIDEO)

Authorities have released the name of a woman that was killed in a fire that started inside her home on Cerulean Hopkinsville Road Tuesday morning.

Cerulean firefighters say the home along with a garage was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived just before 7 am.

Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says the owner 78-year-old Carolyn Armstrong was found deceased inside the home.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen area but the cause of the fire was unknown.

Authorities say No foul play is suspected in the death. Armstrong’s name was released by the funeral home Wednesday afternoon.

The home is located in the 2100 block of Cerulean Hopkinsville Road.
