Teenager Charged After High-Speed Pursuit

A teenager was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit in Christian County Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop an 18-year-old for going 12 mph over the speed limit on Pennyrile Parkway near the Lovers Lane exit.
The teenager reportedly fled at speeds of over 100 mph before stopping on Interstate 24 eastbound just past the Pennyrile Parkway ramps.
He is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
