A Hopkinsville woman has been charged in connection to a shooting on Kenwood Drive in Hopkinsville that injured one person Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a report of shots fired and found 36-year-old Kimberly Harrell that had been shot in the arm by 35-year-old Shequita Buckner
Buckner fled the area but was later located by police and charged with first-degree assault.
Harrell was taken by ambulance emergency traffic to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to meet with a waiting helicopter to transfer her to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. The shooting happened just after 11 am.
