Pennyrile Health Continuing To Take Appointments for COVID Vaccinations

The Pennyrile District Health Department is continuing to take appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations as they move into another phase and start to administer vaccines to those 50 and older or 18 and older who have a health condition.

Grace Donaldson with the health department says they are still taking appointments for their waitlist of those wanting COVID-19 vaccinations.

click to download audioIf you don’t have internet in order to sign up, Donaldson says you can call one of the local health departments to get on the waiting list.

She says they currently have the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

click to download audioAccording to Donaldson, they are holding vaccine clinics each day in one of the five counties in the health department’s district. She says Monday the clinic is in Livingston County followed by Caldwell County on Tuesday.
