Pennyrile Health Department Offering Next Phase Of 1c Vaccine

The Pennyrile District Health Department will begin vaccinating people 50 and older as a part of the next phase of 1c vaccinations.

The district will administer vaccines through the local health departments in Caldwell, Crittenden, Livingston, Lyon, and Trigg Counties. The Moderna vaccine will be administered at the Livingston Central High School gymnasium on Mondays. Tuesday the vaccine will be given at the Caldwell County Health Department. Lyon County will vaccinate individuals Wednesdays at the Lyon County Convention Center at Lee Jones Park. Thursday the Crittenden County Health Department will vaccinate people at the Crittenden County Health Department. In Trigg County vaccines will be distributed on Fridays at the Trigg County Seniors Center.

The Pennyrile District Health Department will also continue to vaccinate any essential workers and person 18 and older who have health conditions. The best way to prepare for your COVID-19 vaccine is to visit pennyrilehealth.org and fill out the COVID-19 Vaccine Waitlist form. The clerks are calling through this waitlist daily to schedule appointments. If

you do not have internet or computer access, please call your local health department to schedule an appointment over the phone.

The Pennyrile District Health Department is offering the two-dose Moderna and one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine at our local health departments as quantities allow.
