With repairs made to roadways damaged by flooding earlier month, Trigg County Judge-executive Hollis Alexander said the county will soon shift focus to other paving projects throughout the county.
Because most of last year’s money from the state’s rural secondary roads fund was not used, Alexander said they will be able to do twice as much this year.
click to download audioAlexander said there will be about $524,000 available through the fund which equates to $262,000 for last year and this year. He said a list of roads that will be repaired and paved will be approved by Trigg Fiscal Court in the coming months.
