A Madisonville man and woman were reportedly found with drugs after a traffic stop on Pennyrile Parkway Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say their anti-crime unit stopped 33-year-old Joseph Singleton and 28-year-old Karlie Stewart for swerving in the area of the 9-mile marker.
During the stop, one pound of marijuana, a digital scale, over 100 oxycodone pills, and a gun that had been reported stolen in Madisonville were reportedly located.
They were both arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking marijuana, and receiving stolen property.
