The Christian County Health Department has confirmed 26 new COVID-19 cases since Friday afternoon.
Health department officials indicted the cases were not from a backlog and are indeed new COVID-19 cases from the last three days. Of the 6,406 total COVID-19 cases, 77 are deemed active, with 50 cases between the ages of 22 and 59. There are 17 active cases for those 21 or younger and 10 for those between 60 and 84.
Christian County has reported 6,246 recoveries and 83 deaths since the pandemic began.
