A man was arrested after he reportedly assaulted another person and pointed a gun at them on Fort Campbell Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a road rage incident led 50-year-old Danny Thompson to follow a truck driver to Love’s Travel Stop then jump inside the truck and hit him in the face with his hands before pointing a gun at him.
Police located Thompson just down the road and took him into custody. Thompson is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault.
