The Christian County Health Department announced four new active coronavirus cases were confirmed Friday.
According to the health department, the latest cases bring the number of active cases in the county to 79. Of those, 50 cases are between the ages of 22 to 59, sixteen are 21 or younger, and thirteen of the cases are 60 and older.
Since the outbreak began a year ago a total of 6,380 cases have been confirmed in the county, 6,218 have recovered, and 83 residents infected with the virus have died.
