A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she allegedly assaulted her child’s father Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Malika Weaver blocked the father of her child from leaving the home and used a baseball bat to hit him in the face on South Campbell Street. The man suffered severe injuries from the assault.
Weaver was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
