After a year of uncertainty, students will not only return to in-person classes at Caldwell County Schools; they can now breathe a sigh of relief as graduation plans have been announced.
Caldwell County High School principal Christy Phelps tells the News Edge the celebration events will kick off with Baccalaureate on Sunday, May 16.
She adds Class Night to follow on Tuesday, May 18, with the Caldwell County graduation ceremony scheduled for Friday evening, May 21, at 7:00 at Tiger Stadium. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to Saturday, May 22.
Phelps says that while there is still much to be determined, they wanted to make the information available in ample time so families can prepare and schedule accordingly. She adds graduates and their families will receive more information as it’s made available.
Phelps says they will do their best to plan meaningful and memorable experiences for their students, regardless of how the events may be held.
