An Allensville man was arrested Tuesday on charges of child abuse as the result of an investigation that started on December 4th.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Ashton Powell was charged after an eight-week-old child in his care was found to have bruises on the side of its face along with broken ribs. Authorities say the child also had broken ribs that appeared to have been healing from a prior incident.
Powell was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal abuse.
