Christian County Flooding Forces Schools To NTI

With the looming threat of flooding problems resulting from more than three inches of rain over the weekend, Christian County School students will not be in the classroom.

School spokesman John Rittenhouse says Christian County students will attend through Non-Traditional Instruction Monday, with Virtual Learning Academy students to be on the regular school. Rittenhouse says no meals will be provided for NTI or VLA Students.

Meanwhile, Christian County officials say both the north and southbound lanes of Fort Campbell Boulevard have reopened after being closed due to flooding Sunday afternoon.

The ECC says no other major flooding problems are being reported.

The Kentucky Mesonet recorded 3.25 inches of rain.
