Joint graveside services for 91-year old Thomas “Tom” Yates and his wife, 89-year old Joann Gibson Yates, both of Hopkinsville will be Tuesday afternoon, March 2, at 2:00 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include their son, James Edward Yates and his wife Nancy Jo of Marysville, OH; their daughter, Nancy Yates Toliver and her husband, Alan of Hopkinsville; his brother, William Earl Yates of South Carolina; his sister, Stella Mae Coffman of Kentucky; her brother, David Gibson of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Heather Thompson, Nicole Houghton, Erin Zurlinden, and Jimmy Yates; and three great-grandchildren, Wilder Thompson, Avery Zurlinden, and Mia Zurlinden.
