Six COVID Cases Reported In Trigg County Over Last Nine Days

Trigg County has added just six cases of COVID-19 in the past nine days with the latest cases all isolated at home with minor or no symptoms.

Wednesday night, the Pennyrile District Health Department issued its first update on case numbers since February 9.

There have been 52 cases of COVID-19 in Trigg County this month, compared to 157 through 18 days of January and 170 in December.

Trigg County’s incidence rate Thursday was 11.7 per 100,000 population which was the lowest since November 2. Trigg has remained out of the red, which is an incidence rate of 25 or higher, for seven of the last 12 days after 38 straight days in the red.

Trigg County ranks 69th in the state with 1,057 cases and 97th out of 120 counties with eight deaths.
