Paducah Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs In Hopkinsville

A Paducah man was reportedly found with drugs after a traffic stop on East 12th Street in Hopkinsville Saturday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Trevion Clary was seen speeding on East 9th Street and driving recklessly.

Authorities stopped Clary on East 12th Street and could reportedly smell marijuana in his vehicle and alcohol on his breath.

Police say he would not cooperate with them or get out of the vehicle and had to be carried out.

Clary was reportedly not able to stand on his own and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. After a search of his vehicle, over 240 grams of meth, marijuana, flanged ammunition, and $9,000 in cash were allegedly found.

He is charged with DUI second offense, reckless driving, along with trafficking marijuana and meth.
