Kentucky on Pace For Fifth Straight Week of Declining COVID Cases

Kentucky is on pace for a fifth straight week of declining COVID-19 cases with Friday’s testing positivity rate dropping below seven-percent for the first time in 14 weeks.

Kentucky reported 1,440 new cases of the coronavirus Friday marking three straight days under 2,000 for the sixth time in the last week.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus was 1,063, the fewest since November 3.

The testing positivity rate of 6.9-percent was the lowest for the state since November 6.
