Area road conditions have not improved across the region, with crews expected to help make them better throughout the day.
Trigg County Emergency Management Director David Bryant says roads in the county are deceiving.
Bryant adds Trigg County road crews are doing the best they can to help clear roads.
Bryant says Trigg County was fortunate there were no power outages from the ice storm. He adds crews will work to clear as much as possible before the snow system that could impact the region Sunday night through Monday.
When it comes to roads across District One, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesperson Keith Todd says some areas had freezing drizzle overnight.
Todd adds crews are hard at work doing as much as they can Friday.
Todd says crews are getting ready for the potential for two rounds of snow next week. He encourages anyone who has to get out Friday to take it slow.
