Christian County Reports Five New COVID-19 Cases

The number of new coronavirus cases in Christian County continues to shrink with the health department reporting five new cases Friday and 12 from Thursday.

There have been 325 cases announced in the first 12 days of February, compared to 679 in January and 426 in the first 12 days of December.

There are 456 active cases of COVID-19 in Christian County.

According to the state’s COVID-19 reporting website, there were six students and three teachers in the public school system that tested positive this week compared to 18 students and three staff last week. There were 91 students quarantined this week for contact purposes.

University Heights Academy has reported no new cases involving students or staff members this week after reporting three students last week.

Heritage Christian Academy has reported two new cases involving students this week after reporting three student cases and one staff case last week.
