The Trigg County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a Trigg County man that was killed in a wreck on US 68 in Land Between the Lakes Wednesday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says a truck was westbound at the intersection of The Trace when the driver 18-year-old Anthony Boyer lost control and hit the bridge causing the vehicle to overturn.
The truck reportedly came to a rest on its top and Boyer who was not wearing a seatbelt was partially ejected. Boyer was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trigg County Coroner’s Office.
Acree says he will be investigating the crash and added weather conditions along with speed were a factor.
The wreck happened just before 7 am.
