In-Person Classes Canceled Wednesday For Trigg County Students

There will be no in-person classes Wednesday for Trigg County Public School students, but students will be asked to complete NTI work from home.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe tells the News Edge the decision was made after a Tuesday afternoon conference call with the National Weather Service in Paducah.

The worst of the potential ice storm is expected to impact the region late Wednesday into Thursday. Thorpe adds there are several factors they will be watching to decide for Thursday and Friday.

Thorpe encourages everyone to stay safe during the storm.

The News Edge will provide timely updates on school closures when information is made available.
