A pursuit on Wade Road in Christian County led to a juvenile being charged Monday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area just before 11 am for the report of a 17-year-old runaway, and when they approached the teenager, he fled in a car. The pursuit ended when the teenager hit a tree on Wade Road.
The teen was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police and driving without an operator’s license.
Deputies say the juvenile was treated at the scene for minor injuries from the wreck.
