Christian County Reports Three Deaths Linked To COVID-19

The Christian County Health Department reported three deaths Monday related to the COVID-19 virus bringing the county’s total to 78 since the onset of the pandemic.

The deaths were three females aged 72, 75, and 90 years-old. Amanda Sweeney Brunt with the health department said all three women had underlying conditions in addition to COVID-19.

There was some good news reported Monday. There were only 37 new cases reported since Friday or 12 per day. Christian County’s 382 active cases are the fewest since November 18.

The number of active cases in the 60 to 84 age group stands at 66 – the fewest since November 10.
