Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville man who was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle on Eagle Way Saturday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 33-year-old Leonardo Torres who was walking in the area near Bradshaw Road was hit by a westbound car on Eagle Way driven by 32-year-old Andrea Watkins, of Hopkinsville. Torres was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter, which transferred him to Skyline Medical Center, in Nashville, for treatment of what were termed severe injuries.
Authorities say Torres was wearing all dark clothing. The incident happened just before 6 pm.
