The Pennyrile District Health Department’s weekly COVID-19 case summary released Friday evening shows Trigg County currently has 84 active cases, including five in the hospital.
According to the report, 1,033 cases have been confirmed in the county since the pandemic began almost a year ago. Of those, 941 have recovered and eight deaths have been connected to the virus.
In the health department’s district, Caldwell County has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases with 1,062. Of those, 65 are active and include five in the hospital, 974 recoveries, and 23 deaths related to the virus.
In Lyon County, a total of 489 COVID cases have been confirmed, which include 20 active cases, 456 recoveries, and thirteen deaths linked to the virus.
